You are invited to take part in the inspiring testimony of a not-so-humble woman who took a small church in Memphis, Tennessee and single handedly strong-armed it into an 80,000 member Mega-Church…on a mission! Complete with waterslides, laser-tag pavilions and the Dick Cheney Vice-Presidential Shooting Range...this church is a little slice of heaven right here on Planet Earth. So, who better to acquaint you with the "do’s and don'ts" of this Pentecostal paradise than the holy highness herself, Sister Myotis Crenshaw! Part Tammy Faye Baker and part Mussolini; this deaconess is your host on a one-of-a-kind interactive Southern Evangelical odyssey. “Should Christians own cats?” “Are thong panties a weapon of mass corruption?” The answers to these questions and so many more await you in Sister Myotis’ homespun world of handbell choirs, passion plays, and cataclysmic puppet theatre. When it comes to being a Godly church member in a Godless world, no stone is left unturned and no book is left unburned.

Winner of the 2010 Ostrander Award for Best Original Script, Hold Fast is an elegant intertwining of the life events of its writer/ performer with the poetry of Langston Hughes. An accomplished solo performer, Darius Wallace invites the audience along as he maps out the dreams of his ancestors and mentors that have marked his path and guided him to his present. Hughes’ rich, vibrant words provide a platform for Darius to pose the question: Are dreams the burden that weigh you down or the wings that give you flight?

Commissioned by the US Fish and Wildlife to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Wild Legacy illuminates the 1956 Sheenjek Expedition and the experiences of the devoted naturalists that explored this untouched piece of Alaskan wilderness. Adapted by company member Gloria Baxter with original music by company member Virginia Ralph, Wild Legacy employs Voices of the South's trademark Narrative Theatre style to tell Mardy and Olaus Murie's simple yet powerful story of love for each other and for the majesty of the Alaskan wilderness.
